The annual Asia Hip Hop Festival is all about celebrating hip hop dance and raising the standard in the region. Now in its fourth year, it will be even bigger and better as part of the SHINE Youth Festival. Aside from master classes and a mass workshop conducted by members of O Crew and overseas instructors, the festival will culminate in an explosive 2.5 hour concert showcasing the talents of the best dancers in the region. This year, they have a total of 18 crews from 7 countries (Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore) participating in the concert. There was the multi-award winning and ever entertaining Wrecking Crew Orchestra (W.C.O.) from Japan, an all-girls dance group made up of 11-13 year olds - Cool Mint (Japan) as well as our very own local O Crew, freaky clownz and many more!! The various crews were simply fantastic and sensational! their level of competence for dance is sooooooooooooooooooooo amazing!! You should see the amount of confidence they have. it's like it was a breeze to them. But of course we should know that they put in loads of painstaking hardwork just to showcase that 10 mins or maybe 15 mins of performance! well, they seemed to be having heaps of fun which made it even more appealing to watch!
